Born and raised in Clay County, North Carolina, Dwayne has always had a heart for his community. He gave his life to Christ at 11 years old, and that decision continues to guide every part of his life. In 2014, he married his wife, Hannah, and together they are raising three boys.
A business owner and active community member, Dwayne finds great joy in coaching youth sports, investing in the next generation, and volunteering at his church. He also helps lead the church’s security program, helping ensure that the congregation is safe while worshiping. An avid outdoorsman and firearms enthusiast, he enjoys hunting, target shooting, and early mornings in the deer stand, as well as cruising down country roads in his ’53 Ford with the windows down, all while appreciating God’s creation.
As an elder, his heart is to serve with humility, love people well, and point others to the hope and guidance found in Jesus Christ.
