DJ was born and raised Roman Catholic in a big Italian family in Kenner, Louisiana. He served in the Navy from 1993 to 1996 where he received his Catholic confirmation.
After he met his wife, Renee in 2006 and they were married in 2009, he became hungry for God. He decided to leave Catholicism after visiting a bible-centered, non-denominational church where his faith skyrocketed. God led DJ and Renee to Hiawassee, GA in May 2017 where they found and have been attending Catalyst Church ever since.
DJ has recognized the calling on his life in youth ministries and feels God's love so much that it pours out into the lives of the children and teenagers in our local communities.
